– Assistant Instructor | Blue Belt BJJ

Started training in grappling at the age of 16 years old. After earning a couple of stripes she turned her focused to Muay Thai Kickboxing. As of 2013 Ali turned her focus back to Gi Jiu Jitsu and training regularly. She even started to compete early on as a white belt. Supplementing her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu game Ali also cross trains in Judo and Wrestling.
In terms of competing Ali has placed at every tournament she has entered. She earned Gold medals at Kakuto, Naga, COPA, and AGF. She has experience at IBJJF events as well. Though if you asked Ali she would tell you submission only is the best! She always makes it a point to support Atlanta’s Submission Only Tournament, Kakuto, by participating in every event they hold.

Her passion for Jiu-Jitsu is evident in our Kids program. Her attention to detail, ability to convey technique, and her competitive work ethic makes Ali a great kids instructor. She focuses on teaching the kids self defense through fun drills and games that engage the kids. As our little ones improve and eventually find their way to competitions Ali is with them every step of the way. She has worked with Shane, Co- Instructor of the Kids Program, on curriculum and restructuring of different Kids drills and the like.

Currently Ali is putting her full effort into teaching our kids Self Defense and Anti Bullying tactics on her road to becoming a World Champion.
